Be, instead of brag

I read this article the other day, and have found myself thinking about it a lot since. I have always been appreciative of my parents and all they did for me growing up, and I have a whole new perspective since I became a parent myself. I worry about everything, so its no secret that I worry about my girls and what I can do to help them as they grow. Reading this article got me thinking, and actually made me feel a bit better about the challenge of parenting in this day and age. Although parenting requires a lot of teaching, it's also important to be real, honest, authentic. I hope I can remember in the coming years not to stress too much about if I'm doing it right, or what I should be doing better, but to just BE. Be me, be present, and be real, and to teach the girls to do the same.

We have been so busy and stressed over the last few weeks, I haven't been able to think, much less blog. So, rather than ramble about our "stuff" I thought I'd share something that I think is important :)

"talk" soon!
XO
